Annual Diagnostics
Small animals age approximately seven years for each one of our years. This makes their annual exams crucial to their health. Annual exams are a state requirement for all prescription medications.

Recommended annual diagnostics include testing for:
• Heartworm
• Feline Leukemia
• Feline Aids
• Fecal Exams

Other specific tests are available. Some of these tests include thyroid disease and medication levels and Phenobarbital levels.

Dr. Carole Larsen will come to your home and perform the exams and diagnostics, reducing the stress on you and your pet.

Dr. Larsen can prescribe and deliver most prescriptions with current examinations and lab work.

A customized vaccine protocol is developed and administered, based on the individual risk factors, for each pet. Vaccines help your pets live longer, healthier lives. Protecting your pet is our primary goal, so please contact us today to discuss your pets vaccination needs so we can develop an appropriate vaccination schedule for your pet.

Minor Sick Pet Evaluations
Our pets are important to us and we get concerned when they are not feeling well. We see the changes in the behavior that tell us they are not feeling well. Rolling Vet can come to your home and evaluate your pet to diagnose even their minor illnesses. This helps your pet recover faster and prevents small illnesses from turning into larger sicknesses.

Specialized Diagnostics & Services
Special diagnostic services are available like serum allergy testing, VOM adjustments of spinal concerns

Heartworm / Intestinal Parasite Testing
It is recommended that dogs and cats are checked for intestinal parasites 2-4 times in the first year of life, then 1-2 times per year as adults. All pets should also be on year-round parasite control against heartworms (yes, even cats can get heartworm), intestinal parasites, fleas, and ticks. Puppies and kittens should receive dewormer beginning at 2 weeks of age and continuing every 2 weeks until regular broad spectrum control begins. Dogs should be tested for heartworm infection annually and stay on a heartworm preventative year round. Rolling Vet can take care of all of your pet's parasitic testing and prescription needs.

Geriatric/Nutrition Consultations
Geriatric and nutritional consultations can be done, putting together health issues as well as environmental issues, so we can provide your pet with a customized approach.

Behavior Consultations
Behavior consultations are greatly aided by in-home visits, as a full appreciation of the issues can be seen in the pets home environment. Pets can have a wide variety of behavioral issues, from simple housetraining problems to anxiety and aggression issues. Dr. Carole Larsen is experienced in diagnosing and addressing behavior problems with an approach that combines skills from clinical medicine, behavioral medicine, and pet training. Our goal is to help pets and their owners live together comfortably, and to help restore the best possible bond between pets and their families.

Pet Pickup/Delivery to Local Vet Hospital
Should your animal need hospitalization or major surgery, Rolling Vet can transport your pet to a local hospital of your choice. This would benefit those whose schedules make it almost impossible to transport their animal. It also benefits those who cannot leave the home due to infants and/or small children or health related reasons. There is a transportation fee for this service. Please call to make arrangements.
